Steatite Ceramic Part

 

Steatite ceramic also called high-frequency ceramic, mainly composed of Mgo SiO2, it has a pure white color, strong acid resistance, high insulation performance, and strong adsorption capacity.

It is an excellent material for device, used in electronics for coil frameworks, mounting plates, supports, various types of high-frequency ceramic insulators, ceramic shafts for toggle switches,ceramic bushings, ceramic resistance bodies, sealed enclosures.

Steatite ceramic has high thermal insulation performance, good chemical stability, and high tensile strength.

Properties of steatite ceramic:

1.Density: 2.6g/cm³.

2.Compressive strength:900Mpa.

3.Thermal shock resistance:100k.

4.The dielectric constant ε is low (ε = 6 – 7), and the tangent value of the dielectric loss is also low (tgδ = 30 – 20 × 10-4).

5.High insulation strength (ruδ = 20 – 30 kv/mm), high volume resistivity (100℃ rv = 10^12 – 10^14 Ω.

6.High mechanical strength, good chemical stability (resistant to acid, alkali and corrosion).
